Welcome to the Ken Petersen State Farm Agent office in Burlington, IA! My journey to becoming a State Farm agent has been guided by a lifelong commitment to serving others. From my time in the Marine Corps Infantry to a decade in law enforcement, I have always prioritized helping people and putting their needs first. Becoming an agent has given me the opportunity to carry on that mission, supporting Good Neighbors as they protect what matters most in their lives and plan for a brighter future.

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife and our three amazing boys. My wife works alongside me in the office, keeping everything running smoothly—without her, I’d be lost. Our oldest is incredibly artistic, loves music, runs cross country, and plays soccer. Our middle son is full of energy, loves sports, and is a total goofball, while our youngest is our wild child with a bold personality who often runs the show. In my spare time, I enjoy exercising, hunting, and getting out on the golf course. Giving back to the community is also very important to me, and I’m proud to support local organizations through volunteering.
